November 3, 200322 yr Very, very nice Pete!Could you tell a 'repaint newbie' like me how to do that metallic look or is it your secret?;) BTW, as your list of requested repaints must be very long, let me know if I can lend you a helping hand...:-) RegardsThomas
November 4, 200322 yr Author Thomas,I developed this by using several layers of varing shades and opacity with motion filters thrown in the mix. I started with one 'panel' section then copied and flip and blend the adjoining sections with the rubber stamp tool. I then distorted the lower layers at the nose to give the nose some shape and flipped the aft lower textures upward to mimic photos I use for guidance. I have several photo's I use to guide me in the overall look and feel of what I want to show. It took a whike, starting back in my Fly!2K PMDG 737 days. FS does a great job with it's alphas, making this particular livery come alive. As for liveries, feel free to tackle any that tickles your fancy. I'm about done with the 600/700 series of liveries and I'll probably take a painting break while I wait for the first 800 fuse to make it's way to my desktop for painting. http://www.precision...GX_Dev_Team.jpg PMDG Graphic Designer
