November 6, 200322 yr I've looked but so far no luck. Is there a way to start the PMDG 737 series on Cold & Dark when u first load the plane. Meaning engines off nothing turned on all that? Cause I know you could with the Dreamfleet 737 through the overhead panel and these two aircart have pretty much the same layout as far as the panel goes. Kevin...SAL_349[ZTL]
November 6, 200322 yr If you are using the default Cessna or other aircraft, simply turn off the mags and batt. (leave the avionics switch on). When you load the PM737, you will find the panel cold and dark. There is also a cold and dark startup in the saved flights menu. John
November 6, 200322 yr Hi. Could someone please explain the logic of leaving the avionics switch on?Thanks so much,Sam Mantel, IIIKEWR
November 6, 200322 yr Actually, PMDG has a cold and Dark startup inside of FS9.I came across it in a 'select a flight' or 'select situation.' Not sure which one but its there....Troy
November 6, 200322 yr If you select the cessna as was described previously and turn off all but the avionics switch, quite rightly when the pmdg is loaded everything is off. If you then save it as the default flight, exit the fs9 program and then reload, the prob heats are always ON. Is there any way around this ?
November 7, 200322 yr Well, I've seen this option, but it's not so useful, because it also brings you to the associated airport. Of course, you can then change the airport, but this means double scenery loading. What would be better would be an option in the menu to either bring everything down, or everything up ready for FMC programming and flight.Eric L.>Actually, PMDG has a cold and Dark startup inside of FS9.>I came across it in a 'select a flight' or 'select situation.'> Not sure which one but its there....
