isnt the autobrake supposed to go to OFF when manual braking is applied?I thumbing through an Alaska Airlines flight operations manual this weekend I seemed to find a reference to this.

When disconnecting the autobrake by initiating manual braking the switch willnot move of its own accord however the AUTOBRAKE DISARM light will illuminate and normally the PNF will call "Autobrake Disarm"The switch is reposition to Off notmally by the FO in the After Landing Scan.Does this answer your Q?Zap
