Download authentication required

Featured Replies

Dear PMDGI've just managed to gain access to my download link, but when I attempt to initiate the download through DAP, I get a window asking me for an authentication username and password as seen in the attatched screenshot below.I have tried things such as my full name, my email address and my original order ID for the username and the password supplied in the email I recieved for the password, but it just keeps coming back up and I dont want to carry on incase I lockout my account.Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.Regards,Lee HollandBAW446 - B757/767 CaptainBritish Airways Virtual.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52696.jpg

Damn..I'm now getting the same thing. I've had this DAP spyware software running since 11:30 last evening. > 12 hours now - and NILL...Ugh.

I usually get this when a sever is too busy! This would make sense in the case of PMDG

After reading another post on here i've switched from DAP to FlashGet - still haven't managed to download the file but at least you can set it to auto-retry and it doesn't keep prompting you for authentication ;-)BTW, what are PMDG using for a server - a Spectrum????Cheers,Shane

I think using Download managers with Keep Alive Sessions in this Situation (1000 parallel attempts ore more)results in a DOS Attack and nothing else.Be all patient, and we make a step forward.RegardsPeter
