Hi Guys, I think I may have mis-understood the original post, because from what I can gather, the VC side views in 2D mode cannot be removed. Is this correct? I understand that the VC doesnt load up when you not in the VC, which is good. However, I was hoping to have a similar view of the outside world in 2D mode like I have in the 747 where I see nothing except the outside world if you know what I mean? The only way I have managed to remove these views is by setting the "see self" line in the fs9.cfg file to 0. However, with this set, I cannot see the taxi or landing lights on the ground. Hi Guys, Apologies for resurrecting an old thread. I have just recently purchased the PMDG MD11 for FS9, and I appear to have VC side views when in the 2D cockpit. I would prefer not to have these views if possible. Can someone advise me on how I go about removing them please? Regards,Lee.

Hi Tom, I dont think it particularly matters what soundset you use to be honest. The Level-D 767 engine sounds appear to be synchronised with the position of the thrust levers rather than the N1 values. Regards,Lee.

Hi Phil, I assume you checked the FS9 button assignments and fixed your throttle issue? If not, there is another solution, If you have a registered version of FSUIPC installed, you can set up a keyboard or Joystick button assignment under the 'Miscellaneous' tab to re-sync your throttles. Hi Daniel,Its looking good so far mate. Im currently enroute from LHR to LAX. The fuel planner calculated an FOB of 137588 and a TOT RES of 13421. From the FMC predictions, it looks like I will be landing with the right amount of fuel remaining at the moment.The only thing that I can think of so far that would be good, if possible, would be to add some even flight levels into the 'Target Cruise Level' drop down menu.Regards,Lee.

Hi all,Having just recently purchased both the pax and freighter version of the 744, I was wondering whether or not you guys are still planning an ACARS update in the future?Being a long term user of the Level-D 763, I both like and am used to feeding winds aloft data into the FMC RTE DATA page. While I know you can do this in the 744 too, the operations manual suggests an ACARS update would be required to simulate this properly.I do not have any intentions of moving over to FSX as yet, so if this feature is implemented in the upcoming version of the 744, then fair enough. I will wait patiently until I am ready to move over to it. However, if not, would you guys consider making an update for both the FS9 and FSX version in the future?Great product by the way. Joaquin,If you have a registered version of FSUIPC, you can easily resolve this annoying behaviour by setting up wind transitions.These transitions will allow you to smooth out any wind speed or direction changes that occur when your weather is updated.Hope this helps.Regards,Lee.

As you may or may not know, I run a small in house project within British Airways Virtual to provide pilots with highly accurate and up to date terminal procedures for the Level-D 767.
