December 18, 200322 yr I just read "Appendix 1: How to write SIDS and STARS". I find it rather fascinating and would like to start writing complete airport procedures for the airports in my area (based on NavCanada charts) Is this a good place to post my questions (eg. Why doesn't my SID work? Why am I getting errors?) Is there a different forum for this?Kenny Rogers

December 19, 200322 yr Hello,The only way you can do it is to convert your one minute leg in a distance, and or use the grammar not before, or not after. The only other prob is that you have to define a speed for this, and you can't take in consideration the wind for.I have posted a reply in a thread that was page 5 or 6 yesterday, so you may want to have a look at it for all the formulas.http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...29669&mode=fullIf you have question, do not hesitate.Personnaly, simming or real world flight, if there is a timing, I use the heading mode or the nav mode if it is from a VOR/NDB, but olso the chronometer.Cpt Cyrille de Lattrewww.corporateaviationservices.comAsus P4P800/P4 2.4 giga/1.5 giga DDR/Ati 9700 pro 128 meg
