Absolutely not - you can manually enter a flight plan on the RTE pages 2+ or on the LEGS page.

Thank you.I explained myself badly.What I meant is that if I put in only departure and arrival the FMC seems to refuse to activate itself. It is perhaps not usual in real life, but is it impossible to fly straight on target with help of the FMC?Georg Langrath
