December 24, 200322 yr Does probe heat really work or does it need the SHIFT+H treatment? I've been running into icing conditions through clouds which is causing the airspeed indicator to blitz out even with probe heat on.ThanksJason Barlow
December 24, 200322 yr For your first one, I am not sure. Add-on weather might cause havoc if used. Derate will advance to full climb at 15000' just like the real NG. Does R-TO display?[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg Randy J Smith
December 24, 200322 yr I found my answer on the derate and came up with the same answer (I'm still overcoming my PIC'isms) :) Thank you for your help on this though. The probe heat thing is still puzzling. I have random icing and turbulence turned on in FSUIPC - which I can turn off if it's a problem (at the expense of realism). I would think probe heat would prevent the freeze up on the A/S indicator.J
