December 27, 200322 yr Hi,Is it just me or does the real 737NG have problems performing at higher flight level in hot conditions such as around the equator, ISA +25 and higher at FL's?Regards,Darren TaylorSydneyAustralia
December 27, 200322 yr Not just a 737 NG, all aircraft have performance issues in hot humid high altitude conditions.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg Randy J Smith
December 27, 200322 yr Yes, true but i am seeing it struggle to fl310 in these conditions. I am using activesky 2004 and -14 at fl350 , is this normal ? had to reduce speed to get there to 250 indicated Darren TaylorSydney Australia
December 27, 200322 yr What was your gross weight at the time?Planes don't just shoot up to FL400 and stay there, they step climb upwards AFTER burning off fuel as the new altitude becomes attainable.Ray
