Autopilot works fine in MSFS 2002, but not in MSFS 2004

Featured Replies

Fellow PMDG 737 users,I have attempted, on several occasions, to use the autopilot (SU2) in MSFS 2004 with no avail. Autothrottle works fine, but none of the roll or pitch functions work. I am using the exact same flight plan, aircraft configuration, and procedures that I followed while using the 737 in MSFS 2002. I am sure that there must be a simple solution to this problem as I have noticed that no one else has brought this issue to the forum. Below is the flight plan I have tried in both 2002 and 2004 FS versions:CYYZ-AGBEK-BUF-ALB-GDM-KBOS Takeoff 15LZFW = 83,000 LBS Fuel = Full tanksCruising Altitude = FL310Above 500 AGL, click on LNAV, VNAV, and then autopilot. In FS2004, the autopilot disconnects after I click on it.Bill MassicottHopkinton, MA

Are you *touching* the controls at all when you have the AP in control? If you trim or apply any pressure the AFDS will revert to CWS mode..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg
