January 3, 200422 yr Ever since I've had this awesome 737NG I've had problems landing it. 1, the first version didnt have any reference speeds, 2 My FMC is not working right now! I go to the init ref page to check my speeds for landing and there in the thousands! Whats the deal!!! I'm becoming very very very frustrated and anger. Yes I have entered all the appropriate weights into the fmc, and i still get this! I attached a pic. Someone PLEASE HELP
January 3, 200422 yr There is no VRef error, there is an operator error here :-)The weight should be in 1,000s of pounds, so instead of 103000 it should be 103.0Leo Bakker
January 4, 200422 yr Does the real 737NG FMC have maximum and minimum limits on weight entries, Leo? (to help prevent operator error). I recall that the 747-400 has a certain "window" for weights.Thanks.Cheers.Ian.
January 4, 200422 yr I don't think so Ian. You can enter on my real 737 FMC trainer for ZFW 999.9 if that says anything ;)[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg Randy J Smith
January 4, 200422 yr The only reference that I can find in the manual is that "valid entries are xxx or xxx.x".So in that sense you shouldn't be able to put in 130000 but it wouldn't preclude 999.9 as noted by Randy.Leo Bakker.
