January 23, 200422 yr There have been a lot of previous posts about problems with controlling the a/c rudders doing funny things. There is an interesting artical in the latest 'Computer Pilot Magazine' about problems with controllers connected to USB ports on PCs using WinXP. The problem is that when your processor is flat out e.g. on landing, XP looks to shut down any non critical devices like USB ports running off the motherboard. In effect it will switch your contoller off. The solution is to disable 'power management' on the 'USB Root Hub'.Worth a try:-sun1 Regards Keith B.
