February 6, 200422 yr Hello AllCan anyone tell me the basic steps to start the engines on the 737? I use ctl-e, but then I have to play around with the generator switches on the overhead panel to get the engines to start and "hold" - otherwise they keep trying to start. Even when they do start and hold, I am not sure what I finally did correctly to get them to do so.Forgive my ignorance. If anyone could just give me the steps in the proper order, I would be extremly appreciativeThanks.
February 6, 200422 yr Search the file library for 'Fred Clausen', where you will find v2 of my 737Ng tutorial. I think this should help you out. Also, Tim Metzinger's next tutorial is due out pretty soon, so watch out for that too.
February 6, 200422 yr Hi Kevin,As for your question, there's no quick and dirty answer to starting the 737NG. I would suggest downloading the manuals and check lists and give them a good read. This is a complicated aircraft as far as MSFS is concerned so it would probably help. As was already mentioned, there are some tutorials kicking around as well so download them and have fun.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 Mechanichttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg
