Fuel planner and actual fuel loaded...

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I never used the fuel planner before and when I did today I noticed that if I tell the fuel planner to load the fuel for me I wont get the same amount of fuel loaded, instead all 3 tanks are full to the rim?!?As you can see here even my gross take -off weight isn't correct as a result. Are you supposed to change the fuel quantity manually once the sim is started? Most likely I screwed up somewhere and I haven't tried it again so if there's someone out there to put me on the right path I'd apreciate a lot, thanks!Davidhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/61557.jpg

Hi David,Never refuel an aircraft with the engines running! ;-)Could end in a fatal result. Jokes aside, FS (or is it the NG?) won't recognize any change of your fuel levels if the engines are running. Shut down, refuel, board, do the prestart checks, und so weiter...Hope it helps,

When I actually loaded the fuel trough the the fuel planner option the engines were not running, tha picture shows engines running because that's when I noticed the mistake and decided to post to forum.Davidhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/61613.jpg

Oh I see. Oops! ;-)Well, in that case I don't have a clue. Maybe the author of the fuel planner should step in here?Regards,
