February 27, 200422 yr I believe I can answer this; Disco - popular dance music, especially of the late 1970s, characterized by strong repetitive bass rhythms.-Paul
February 27, 200422 yr :-xxrotflmaoSometimes it does, however, mean DISCOntinuty which means you have two waypoints that the FMC logically couldn't connect. This is pretty common IRL and is cured by line selecting the following waypoint over the DISCO. Be sure to check the flight path with PLAN mode in the ND.The FMC is not able to make any complete VNAV calculations with DISCOs in the flight plan.:-beerchug Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
February 27, 200422 yr ha ha, nice one A32X, I asked for that.MATS, thanx for that info. It makes sense now. It's just that when I check through the route (plan mode) It goes to the last waypoint, then there is a gap in the magenta line to the beginning of the star, so the fmc goes back two waypoints and then forward again and then jumps to the beginning of the star. Those two waypoints then list in the discontinuity section, so I delete the said waypoints and add the beginning of the star waypoint into the 'then' space and it all connects up. Is this the best way to join a flight plan to the star?
February 27, 200422 yr Keith, lolI'm not quite following your steps here, if you get my drift.Could you provide some screen shots and I'm sure me or someone else can join you...lol Sounds like you have multiple entries of the same waypoint... But not sure here... some pics would be great.DISCO... too funny :DCheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
