B1900 : panel lights in VC

Featured Replies

Hi y'allIn 2D panel mode the grey switch activates the panel lights but in VC mode it doesn't do anything. The panel lights automatically get off at a certain time at dawn and on at a certain time at dusk. This is specially annoying if you fly early in the morning (as I like to do) just after the panel lights get off, the VC gauges being too dark.So the question is, am I missing something ?thanksDominique

Hi Dominique. You aren't missing anything. This is a known issue. Flight Simulator allows for customized lighting through textures, and also VC FX lighting (like in the default aircraft), but doesnt do both together very well at all. We'll see what we can come up with for any future releases.VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg

Thanks Vin. Pity ...A little marketing feddback if I dare. Your plane is exactly the kind of planes I like. She flies not too fast but fast enough not to become sloppy, not too high but high enough to enjoy the view. It's modern avionics but no FMC, meaning you fly the darn thing you're not flown by it. And you don't have to swallow 200 pages of manual. Fun and challenge. Nice. The point is, I would've been ready to add 10 bucks more and have a little more finition in the VC, more working switches, ability to swith frequencies etc. My two

No I didn't make myself clear. Ther's no standby frequency.Dominique
