>I may be worng but I am sure you are not allowed to>distribute anything with Disney on it as it is copyrighted and>they dont like it. :)I'm sure all aircraft liveries on the face of the earth are copyrighted, actually...

For once I agree with Partizan. If that's the case, we'd all be flying Primer Colored aircraft.

I am sure I saw a year ago or so a Disney paint removed as it included the Disney logo and characters..they were threatened to remove it or legal action would be taken.....EDIT: It is the same with the Peter Max special Contenental 777 paint which is not allowed to be painted as he has forced it to be removed from sites. :)Found this from a very old post!:There are still some paint schemes not allowed for legal upload do to Copyrights owned by someone other than the Airline in which has the paint scheme. Some of these would be Continental's B777 with the Perer Max NYC 2000 SchemeAlaska's B734 with the Disney schemeJAL's varous B744s with Disney shemes.ANA's B763s withe the Pokemon schemes.

Ben, I wasn't trying to debate you, you are quite right. However, his post is correct also.

Honestly though, how the h*ll would it hurt them if there was a paint job done like their plane? It is a bad thing to have people like it? I think they are just average corporate business people. All thats in their eyes is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

>Ben, I wasn't trying to debate you, Yeah i know, just some good discussion! :DYeah I agree it is a bit silly..there was a lot of problems with painting AA a while back...Avsim have some type of agreement with them. :)

I really think it is silly that those individuals don't want there schemes painted up. Oh well, what can you do.

Captains,Anything bearing a Disney name, character or trademark is copyright of the Walt Disney Company (WDC), indeed technically the theme park buildings and characters are all copyrighted trademarks and it's illegal to photograph them without permission!!! This is never enforced unless you are seeking to make money or make the WDC look bad. However if a painter were to approach the WDC for permission to paint a texture of the said aircraft, they would probably say yes, providing there's no profit of any kind and the 'used with permission of WDC, all right reserved' stamped somewhere. Let's face it, it's great advertising for them!!http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpgSemper en excretum, solo profundum variat!
