Roll Rate and Aileron deflection

Featured Replies

Hi folks,I'm using the NG in FS9 and one thing i've noticed is that the aircraft has a very sluggish roll response, if I deflect the joystick fully left or right the ailerons hardly move at all. What should be the typical roll time from 0 to 30 degree bank?I've increased the joystick sensitivity and all that stuff but I don't think it had any effect.Cheers for any help,Tony

I find the NG quite Nippy to be honest !Try lowering your Null Zones and see if that helpsJohn (Once known as Macs)http://homepage.eircom.net/~eamonnmca/images/logo_ba.JPGwww.bavirtual.co.uk Senior Captain Simflight.com Staff Reviewer

The NG has great roll rate on my system.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

Cheers, must be me, i'll try taking the null zone down, in 2K2 it was responsive, but in 2K4 I can tell it's not behaving like it should, i'm doing my degree in Avionics so I know what a roll response should look like :-) but thanks for the suggestions, i'll see how it goes.Tony
