2 questions about the a/p in the 737-600/700

Featured Replies

Hi AllOk first off I had the a/c installed and but the a/p didnt seem to work right such as the auto throttle would not engage. I uninstalled the whole package and reinstalled and loaded the a/c up and bingoi was able to click on the a/t switch and it worked. Now nothing has changed i go into FS again and load the 737 up and guess what? The A/T wont engage . The switch flips on then off just as quick onetime and wont work again. Next problem I have is while in the middle of the my flight I noticed that after a certain waypoint going into miami CYY3 arr. now before I even got to the arrival I see the FMC say something to the effect "route discontinuity" . Whats this cause I couldnt seem to get the fmc to respond to anything. Please help me if you can Ive only had this a/c 5 days and Ive yet to fly a comlete flight.Mike B

Hi Thank you very much. I will definitely give that a try. Its alsovery nice to do busines with a group that is not only quick to respond to customer problems but also appears to be concerned about customer satisfaction. Thanks againMike P.S really looking forward to teh 800/900 release..............

Route Discon means that the FMC legs page isnt complete. Go through the Legs page, you'll see where the break is and simply click on the LSK(left select key) beside the waypoint just below the break and then click on the LSK corresponding to the Break.Sounds confusing, but when you do this-it'll make sense.Enjoy! :)John http://homepage.eircom.net/~eamonnmca/images/logo_ba.JPGwww.bavirtual.co.uk Senior Captain Simflight.com Staff Reviewer
