737 electric sound?

Featured Replies

Hello folks,I'm trying desperately to find/change and edit this cocpitsound which starts when I push battery on. (PMDG_electrics)?In my opinion it is too loud. I tried to edit this sound butno effect. I took it away and here again, NO EFFECT. The soundstays there and tend to be louder than my engines? Is there some kind of a script in sound config? Thanks beforehand,Markus

I can't believe no one has responded back yet. Here is your answer:Start Flightsim, click on the PMDG tab on the menu bar at the top of your fs screen. Highlight 737NG and click on Styles. Here you will find your sounds, you may turn down the electrical sound from this screen.Hope this Helps

Or cut -PMDG_electrics- in FS9 / Sounds / PMDG / 737NG / and save it on a safe place.Copy no_ap from FS9 sound and place it in FS9 / Sounds / PMDG / 737NGRename it into PMDG_electricsIn this way you can still switch the recirc fan on the overhead panelFound out yesterdayFrans Dekker

Hi Markus,In addition to what the other guys have told you, the PMDG styles menu is the sure bet in case you want to get them back. Also, if you sit in the cockpit of the real 737, you will hear these sounds and the equipment cooling fans. There really is a lot sounds in the modern jet cockpits.CheersBob
