800/900 Product features details...

Featured Replies

There are a couple items in the list of the features page that I wanted more details on if possible: Custom autobrakes system?Departure arrivals? (Under "FMC,CDU", just want to know what changes have been made)

>Custom autobrakes system?Leteris rewrote the autobrake code, and it works 110% like the real plane now. In the 6/700 there were one or two slight things that weren't on par with the real plane's functionality.>Departure arrivals? (Under "FMC,CDU", just want to know what>changes have been made)Not sure, as the FMC finer workings(such as SID/STAR syntax) is beyond me :)

The FMC is very complex at present. I will venture with confidance to say that it is the most advanced ever made for any flight simulation add-on. I seem to have forgot (all this current testing etc) what was missing per se on the ARR/DEP but we have all transistions etc added in the 800-900. The amount of other FMC changes will take too much space to list here! [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
