Manually setting the V-Speeds Weirdness

Recommended Posts

Guest mikemcbee

I noticed that when I set the the V speeds manually, I cant go beyond VR. When I try to, the MFD changes to a strange display and the speed is no longer configurable. Is anyone else seeing this? This is on the new 737-800/900. Thanks Mike

Mike-a last-minute fix that was put in place, caused this to happen. If you wish to manually input your Weight, use the EFIS/Map panel view... (normally, most everyone uses the FMC for calculating it, but... just in case you felt like it ;-) ).

My problem is in the same area. I have no problem setting V1 and V2 but can't set any visible Vref. What am I doing wrong or where is it on the panel so that I can see what numbers I am inputing?Jim O'Brien
