April 27, 200422 yr Hi I've had the 800/900 for a day, and when i first tried out the tcas it seemed to work fine. but now when i try it the ND display shows "TA only" even when it is set to TA/RA on the radio panel.Any ideasBen Rudder
April 27, 200422 yr It is normal on the ground. In the air if it is set to TA/RA it will be replaced by TFC on the ND.[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. April 28, 200422 yr Below approximately 1000' AGL (different threshold climbing vs. descending) RAs are inhibited, hence the "TA ONLY". TA aurals are inhibited below 500' AGL.If you got an RA "Climb, Climb" while sitting on the tarmac, what would you do? ;-)Lee Hetherington, PP-ASEL (KBED)
