April 28, 200422 yr Good day, First of all my congrats on this great add-on! Unfortunately I seem to have a problem like some others on the forum. After the installation of the 800/900 I could fly for some time, but when starting FS9 again the next day, the program simply crashed to the desktop without the usual Windows XP Message. To avoid some unnecessary "try-an-error" playing I uninstalled the aircraft and the entire FS9 and started from scratch: loaded FS9,then as the only add-on, PMDG 737 ver. 1.2, upgraded it to ver. 1.3 and finally installed the 800/900. After each step I started the simulator flew for a short while and went on. Everything was fine so far. Today the following happened: when I started FS9 the new white box in which the loading process of the AIRAC data is shown appeared already in the opening screen and blocked the simulator completely. Only after uninstalling the 737NG I could access the simulator at all. When I did the reinstallation of the 600/700 a small window popped up stating that "c:browser" could not be found. I don't know what this on is about but after the installation of ver. 1.2 in December there was never any problem with the NG 737 or with the FS. I suppose that there is an incompatibility with Windows XP, but I'm not sure. Does anybody have an idea?System:(Siemens Fujitsu Scaleo 600)AMD Athlon 3.0, 1 GB RAM, Hercules 3D Prophet 9600 (ATI Radeon Chipset) 256 MB RAM, Windows XP Home, German Edition. Many thanks for your help.Best regards Uwe
April 28, 200422 yr Please take note on re-installing Flight Simulator1] Uninstalling does NOT remove all FS's file folders. Please go through windows explorer and manually delete any remaining files-folders.2] If you use the remover tool for the 800-900 NG please go into FS's Aircraft folder and manually remove the 800-900 aircraft folder left that the remover did not remove.3] Go to C:Documents and SettingsYOUR NAME IS HEREMy DocumentsFlight Simulator Files and remove any saved fft files. I always leave the default cessna as my default flight then I choose to setup a flight through the menu. [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
