ACARS, No Comm???

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how to establish ACARS communication?I've tried looking through the manuals, but have found no reference to ACARS? If anyone else has any details on how to operate the ACARS please could you tell me.CheersGraeme

Hi Graeme!ACARS is not currently functional in the PMDG 737. The pages are present in the FMC though, and aparently events show up somewhere in the acars pages, but I haven't looked for these yet. PMDG have informed us that they will have a big announcement in relation to ACARS in the near future. ;)Geoffrey BaleanCanberra, AU (YSCB)http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg"Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesturday. Did you mean ACARS was'nt fuctional in the 600/700 series or 800/900 series? I should have stated that I was interested in the 800/900 series ACARS, which is supposed to be functional?RegardsGraeme

GraemeGeoffrey is perfectly correct. The ACARS is not functional at the time. As has been stated by PMDG the ACARS will be announced in the future.Cheers,
