Fully Extended Flaps at Startup

Featured Replies

I notice something new with the 737-800 and 900.When starting up the aircraft, the flaps somehow become fully extended, without me manually extending them. I then have to retract them to normal takeoff setting.-Is this normal?-What am I doing that is causing this "automatic extension".Thanks for any insight

Kevin,When you start FS9 what plane is your default? If you use something other than the PMDG 737-800/900 that will cause this problem. My default plane is the PMDG 737 and the flaps don't extend when I start up.CheersBob

Bob -I currently use the PMDG 737-700 as default. Should I switch to the 800 or 900 as the default aircraft to eliminate this problem?ThanksKevin
