TD Flashing

Featured Replies

I have been flying the 800900 for the past week and on every flight as I near the TD point appx 75-50 miles from the TD the small TD symbol starts to flicker and on the leg page of the fmc all the numbers and waypoints are flashing. This stops after passing the TD point or hitting the desend now LSK.I want to know is this the normal way this works? This has happened on every flight also when I place the Autobrake switch into RTO before takeoff it never goes into off after TO I have to manually do that and the 600700 would go into off on its own after TO.I was wondering if this is a change with the new series? Can you provide a complete flight plan with all waypoints, any terminal procedures and all altitude and speed restrictions for us to try to reproduce this?>This has happened on every flight also when I place the Autobrake >switch into RTO before takeoff it never goes into off after TO I >have to manually do that and the 600700 would go into off on its >own after TOThis is a change to reflect the real behaviour of the Autobrake system. So this is normal. You have to manually reset the Autobrakes.Hope it helps,
