May 6, 200422 yr http://www.airliners.net/Airliners_net_ima...=474132&ViD=bigSo far I've seen 2 airliner interriors and neither has the gauges the way the pmdg 737-800/900 has them. Ive tried different settings in the PMDG pulldown menu but they all seem to look the same. Help! Thanks
May 6, 200422 yr Hey Alex,Here's a working link http://www.airliners.net/open.file/474132/L/I believe that those screens are shown when the batteries are on but the IRS system hasn't been initialized yet. Since IRS isn't simulated yet in the PMDG NG's you simply don't get those screens.Hope it helps.CheersDavid
May 6, 200422 yr AlexWhat you see is the PFD/ND layout with the Over and Under configuration of the center displays. Also note that the picture is taken before IRS alignment so that's why you have all these amber flags. As PMDG does not model IRS alignment (it's always aligned) you will never be able to see this particular information in the displays.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
May 6, 200422 yr thank you for the replies! but what about the display on the left? (forgive me lack of proper terms)On PMDG the left display is split up into 4 smaller windows when I just want the big one like that picture. Thanks again
May 6, 200422 yr Hey Alex,Sure you can do that, you need to read the manual really, best way of learning all the functions...In the mean time explore the PMDG > Styles menu on FS...
May 6, 200422 yr Hey Alex,The best way to descibe which CRT you are talking about is by using this system:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/74746.jpgAs for the display types. I take it you have the one pictured below on the right hand side and you want the integrated type displayed on the right?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/74752.jpgTo change it go the the PMDG|737NG|Styles pull down menu. and you get this screen:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/74753.jpgThe EFIS display type options change the displays PFD/ND is the one pictured above on the left EFIS/MAP is the right style. The rest of the functions of the style menu are descibed in Chapter 00 'Introduction' of the flight manuals.Hope it helps,CheersDavid
