Hi Captains !The situation: If I descend in LVL CHG, speed 240 the V/S is 1300 ft/min. For example,with this descend rate, it is impossible to fly the real approach KLAX, 25L CAT II & III, from FIX ARNES 10.000ft to FIX HUNDA 3500ft. The descend rate is to low.The Question: In real life which descend rate is possible, Speed 240 ?Thanks in advance !Gerhard

It's simple, do not use LVL CH. Use V/S. LVL CH is not the practical use for below 10000' for various reasons and certainly not if you wish to descend at a given rate..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
