May 17, 200422 yr Hi everyone!Just a short question which came up during my last online-flight:I was flying at FL300 and selected speed intervention (pushed the button). The speed window with the current speed became visible and I was able to alter the mach number. Now I wanted to select 250kts and pressed the change-over (c/o)button, but it didn't work. I know, flying so high, normally mach-numbers are interesting, but nevertheless...is it realistic that it did not change from mach to KIAS?Thanks for any replies in advance, best regards,Stefan Bergert
May 17, 200422 yr Well that is a very technical question, one thing I am sure of is that it will display current FMC TARGET, so if the FMC is displaying MACH it will display MACH but as to the posibility of changing through C/O with SPD INTV I really don't know. I think the only way to really know is to have a pilot with that option (SPD INTV) to push C/O at such altitudes and see if it changes. Interesting question though ;-)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/76514.jpg[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. May 19, 200422 yr Hi Randy! Thanks a lot (once again ;-) )for your reply and the corresponding excerpt from the manual. Maybe there is something written on a page which describes the c/o-button's function?Any real pilot who might want to try :-) ...pls *g*?Stefan Bergert
