Featured Replies

How do I get the NM to show up on the FMC (flight map ?).I can view it when I switch to the FMC and the "progress" screen, however when i I am in the normal(navigation mode) screen it just shows up as dashes...Any help would be apprecaited.Cheers,irish3

Sorry about the name thing, carry over from all the other boards I think.Anyway, I am not sure how to post pics on this board. Seems like each one is a little bit different. If you are looking at your heading line on the map, in the upper left hand corner, above the T.A. line you will see the N.M. I suspect it is "Nautical Miles" to your destination? I have yet to see it display anything. I am still learning the FMC, but have not run across anything that talks to this.Cheers,Neil

Hi Neil,I'm not sure what you mean, but the distance to your next (active) waypoint is displayed in the top right of the navigation display (aswell as the time at the waypoint). To the top left you can see your GS (groundspeed) aswell as your TAS (true airspeed) together with the current wind. The text displayed to the left in the middle of the screen indicates what overlays you have selected (such as airports, navaids, waypoints etc)Left lower part shows left ADF or left VOR pointers. Right lower the same but right ADF or right VOR.Regards,Mark
