Engine failure during climbout

hello,this is my first question on this forum after some years as a "passive" member. i am martin hecker, i am from germany and i am a huge fan of the 737ng aircraft by pmdg. unfortunately, since the 738/9-update, there have been some problems. at first, i experienced the "engine failure at v1" problem. after installing the interim update, this problem was solved. yesterday i did a 40 min flight, and there were 3 failures of both engines. one during climbout and two during descent. before flying i cleared all failures in the pmdg-failure menu. so now i have no idea how to solve this problem. has anyone else experienced this strange behaviour? is there a solution?thank you for your help and til then,martin hecker

Martin,I'm still investigating unusual FMC commanded N1 during take off - and find out I will, but - Do you have very little fuel in the centre tank? If the centre tank runs dry, both engines will flame out (apparently). I believe this is to do with the programming of FS9.The fuel planner utility will fill both wing tanks first and leave a nominal amount in the centre tank unless required for the journey.The solution is to leave the centre tank switches off (upper two switches on the bottom left of the overhead panel) unless it has fuel to use.Could be?Nick Kidd

hi nick,thank you for your suggestion. since i only fly short-haul, i almost never use the center tanks. but, as i did not fly for some time due to some work (in real life), i may have forgotten to turn off the center fuel pumps. right now, i am running a test flight and everything works fine so far.so, thank you for your help and til then!martin

Martin,Leaving the center tank pumps on with no fuel in the tanks will no longer cause a flame out. Sounds like a corrupt install.
