I have recently done the default flight in the 600.Everything worked fine except for the autotrottle. it will not stay on. i have clicked it a number of times but it just flashes on then off again. Any ideas what i am doing wrong.

Alan,I don't know if this is your problem, but if you don't have both main engine generator switches on (Blue) it won't engage. It was one of the first things that ever happened to me and I spent hours trying to work it out. I asked a RL pilot friend and he immediately said this answer as it happens like that on the real thing.Impresssive from a real as it gets point of view don't you think.I'd be interested to know if it sorts it.RegardsGeoff

The manuals seem to suggest you can engage N1 for takeoff, but they get a bit vague when it comes to Hold mode. One pilot responded to my question by saying you can't use N1 on the ground (non-PPRuNe response).
