B17 panel

Featured Replies

Anyone out there able to tell me where I can get a panel for my B17? I'm running FS2002 Pro and would like to make my "fortress" look a little more realistic when I take her up for a spin though the wild blue yonder.....Any help will be greatly appreciated.... Flying A KGCM

I wish I knew myself. I'd love to take one for a spin. Three years ago I was able to climb in one in Galveston.Brent

Hi guys, I think the only way to get a decent panel is to buy the Alphasim B-17. I think it's the only way to get a decent B-17 period. All the freeware stuff I've seen looks pretty long in the tooth. Sorry I can't be more helpful.ToddKCOE

Right

I took this picture "a few years ago, 1965 I think. A very sad sight indeed. I beleave the aircraft has since been restored, I hope so.Steve

Well, instead of your snotty response HerbieG, why don't you tell us where you got it?

Whoops, sorry HerbieG, I think I took your reply the wrong way. Part of the dangers of the internet I guess. My apologies.Todd

Do not worry, my response was snotty. I made the plane in the picture. As soon as I learn how to make the needed gauges it will be released as (surprise coming) freeeeeeware.

NICE JOB Herbie!!!!Very impressive work. Can't wait to see it in the library. How about uploading it now as is and then add the panel as a separate file that can be added later?Happy Flying!Bill MolonyAtlanta GA USAUnder the 27L Approach to KATL--the busiest airport in the world :)
