June 24, 200421 yr I unfortunately have a 56k modem and want to download the 800/900 as I bought a CD version of the 600/700. Since I've been kicked off of my ISP on other sizable downloads, I'm a little hesitant to try downloading anything again. Since a CD version is not available for the 800/900 and you cannot use a download accelerator like Gozilla & GetRight, how do you disable GetRight so you can download the software on the PMDG site? If I right-click the icon on the desktop for 'GetRight', there is an option to 'Close it'. Will this disable the software so I can then get on the PMDG site and download the 800/900??Also, what happens if I get kicked off because of my ISP etc ??.. Without a CD version, I'm alittle nervous to spend this type of money and end up with nothing.Any ideas?? Obviously, a CD version would solve this problem but Aerosoft does not have anything on their website about one being available.Regards,Jack
June 24, 200421 yr Agree.I also would like to see the 800/900 update available on CD for the plain simple reason that I don't have a creditcard. If available form Aerosoft I could use PayPal instead.Till then I just keep waiting...
June 25, 200421 yr We have no plans at this time to offer the 800/900 on CD.Is there an Internet Cafe near by with broadband? You could always go there, download it and burn to CD. Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
June 25, 200421 yr Thanks for your reply. I wish there was an Internet Cafe nearby..As to my other question, if I close 'GetRight' by right clicking, will I then be able to try downloading the 8/900 series off of the PMDG site??Regards again,Jack
June 25, 200421 yr Hi Jack,Yes, I don't see why you couldn't when you close Getright :) Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
