June 26, 200421 yr Hi,May I first take this opportunity to say that a long-standing flight-simmer, I have never seen an add-on Aircraft that even approaches this one for quality and congratulations on your excellant web-site too - Well Done!I am having problems however and hope someone can tell me what I am doing wrong. Although I have followed the instructions for the introductory flight in the manual and have downloaded several of the documents available on your web-site, I still end up with the master warning light illuminated - see attached images. I did have an extra one showing (air con) but have managed to get that to go off after reading another post on the subject of switching bleed valves off and on in the right order. But, as for the remaining ones! I am at a loss. It still shows ------------------------------------------------------------Flight Cont Elec Anti-Ice HydFuel Overhead------------------------------------------------------------If I start a take-off roll or taxi at anything faster than a crawl, a warning klaxon sounds, which stops if I ignore it and get airborne. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong here?RegardsBernard
June 26, 200421 yr Set your electrical system to TR1 or 2 and Generator. Your battery is not strong enough to run the aircraft. The warning sounds means you are applying too much power for taxi. On takeoff it means you do not have your flaps sets. That should take care of the problem. You should read the manual on the electrical system. It is a good document to learn.
June 26, 200421 yr Actually that is just the electrical system monitor panel and doesn't select power sources, other than the battery on or off. Here is what I noticed on your panel.1. air cond. switches are off: set these to auto2. press the master warning amber button to reset the cautions. Then press in the annunciator area to recall any existing warnings. This will show you if there are any more warnings to take action on.As for takeoff, make sure your park brakes are released, stab trim is set as well as takeoff flaps are selected.BTW, I would recommend going through the tutorials available on the PMDG downloads page.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg
June 26, 200421 yr I'm not seeing any "hot blues" of ambers on your overhead. Just reset the cautions and see what happens!
