June 30, 200421 yr Hello,Just a quick question. After installing the 800 update, it also refreshes the 600 and 700 with new panels. So, is there any difference in realism between 600 and 800? Basically whats the difference between 600 and 800 after update? I know that older versions virtual cockpits have not been updated yet, but lets count this out.Thanks.
June 30, 200421 yr Georg,Basically it's the same flight deck. The only things I can think of that differs is handling (different lengths and weights) and som airconditioning panels. The 600-700 has only one recirc fan while the 800-900 has two. The 800-900 also has two main cabin zones for temperaure control.Other than that?.... Bueler?... Anyone?...Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
June 30, 200421 yr Thanks. Actually I meant the difference between PMDG 600 and 800. Is the 600 also updated same way as 800 (maybe some dynamics changed or so)?
June 30, 200421 yr There are some fixes and tweaks but nothing major for the 600-700. And there was a post by our own Robert Randazzo when the 800-900 was released what was included. I would also think this information is available at the PMDG web site!Search is your friend, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
June 30, 200421 yr Key items in addition to what was said above are the TCAS system, MCDU A/P features (temp altitude, etc...), and the new FMS features (offset, etc..) retrofitted to the 600/700 by adding the 800/900.
