July 6, 200421 yr I can't seem to open the cargo bay door on the B1900D. Shift-E opens the front door fine, but when I try to use the Shift-E-2 combination, the front door shuts and the radio stack appears! Any ideas?PS Love the aircraft!

July 6, 200421 yr OK,any ideas as to how to unscrew my screwy assignments to make the door work? Still a nice aeroplane though!Just won't take baggage.....Sean Mc
July 6, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi Sean,The cargo door should work flawlessly for the B1900D. In order to ensure you have the proper key assignments, go to SETTINGS>ASSIGNMENTSThen search out the key for "Select Exit"Assign a key of your choosing. The default is shift-E, but many users prefer a single keystroke, (I personally use "V")Press OK, then try hitting your assigned key, and then "2" immediately following. Now, if these assignments are already set, and the doors still dont work, it may be one of those elusive FS9.cfg issues. What I would then suggest is to backup your FS9.cfg (name it FS9.BAK or something of the sort) and then restart MSFS, allowing it to rebuild FS9.cfg. You may need to reset some of your display and sound settings. See if the doors work. (if they dont, just delete FS9,cfg and rename your fs9.BAK back to fs9.cfg)Hope this helps. Keep us posted.Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
July 7, 200421 yr If you have the Aerosoft A320/ATR/BAE146, each one of those has a hidden clickspot that opens a small display containing buttons that open each door, lower/raise the stairs and perform pushback operations. It is much more reliable than trying to set keys, or install 3rd party mods. I wonder if PMDG ever thought about using it?
