B737BBJ?

Featured Replies

Hi PMDG Team, will there be a BBJ version of any B737-700/-800/-900 or even all versions build as BBJ? Have you descided if you will create BBJ at all for us?

Regards, Torben Hadler

Yes but don't expect it out for months after the 747.

That sounds like some many month to go. Like half a year or alike...Ahm, what are the big differences between the normal B737-700 and the -700BBJ? Less empty ramp weight, more fuel capacity and some mods of the flightdeck and for sure a different cabin interieur?Well, can we modify the aircraft.cfg for issues like weights, fuel capacity and other flightdynamics? The other issues we cannot alter, that is your part for sure. But could your tell me what we could edit and change within the aircraft.cfg to let it become BBJ?If I change the basic weights like empty ramp weight etc., will the FMC see it and compute all data acourdingly? Or will you be needed to change the FMC for that?

i will most likely be posting a set of BBJ/BBJ2/military variants modifications for the PMDG 737NG on AVSIM in the next couple of weeks, the MMA modification is already released.i will be releasing the C-40 modification next.following that i will release aircraft.cfg modifications for the BBJ (737-700) & BBJ2 (737-800).the FMC will work fine with the altered weight & fuel changes, the only thing i can't get it to recognise yet is a change in engine thrust.
