July 7, 200421 yr How do you add ILS frequencies into the 737 databases so they show up in the FMC? KIAHs 26R only shows 0.00 / 260 for the ILS. The freq is 111.55. Also, KMCOs 17L/35R is the same way. John K
July 7, 200421 yr I always fly to KIAH or from KIAH and I know for a fact that FS2004 doesn't have the new 26R runway in it yet. The person that was adding them may have not added it thinking no one would use it because it's not in the original FS without adding some kind of scenery.Nick B.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.2 Ghz400W Power supply3x 80 mm Case FansSoyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2
July 7, 200421 yr Well, you can easily download the KIAH AFCAD file from avsim and have the new runway with ILS and proper parking. I did and I am very very pleased.Preston G
July 7, 200421 yr I have tried to do that too, but for some reason the scenery gets in the way. For an example, trees are on the runway and buildings on the taxiway. Only reason I can think of is because I have the jetways installed, but that doesn't may very since because it doesn't affect that.Nick B.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.2 Ghz400W Power supply3x 80 mm Case FansSoyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2
July 8, 200421 yr Hi,You may want to do the following:With any text editor open the file: wpNavAPT which is located in your FS9FMCWPnavdata directory. Then you search for the following line:George Bush Intcntl HousKIAH26R09000266 30.007183 -95.330358000.0026600097and replace it with this line:George Bush Intcntl HousKIAH26R09000266 30.007183 -95.330358111.5526600097Save and exit. What I have done is to insert the ILS frequency (111.55) at the right position in the runway data file. This omission has already been notified to Richard Stefan and it should be included in the next Navdata cycle.Michael
