July 15, 200421 yr I can't seem to get the FMC for the 737ng to access the SID/STARS databsae. I copied the file to the SID/STARS folder in the PMDG directory of FS2004. I enter the ICAO code for the departure and destination airports, then I click on DEP/ARR key to set the departure route and nothing is there. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?Alex
July 15, 200421 yr Alex,No offense intended, but here's a dumb question:Did you just copy the SIDSTAR database file into the folder or did you EXTRACT the files, which is what you need to do?If you have indeed extracted the files to the correct folder, go have a look at it and check whether files with your departure/arrival ICAO codes are present. If they are, you might want to take a look at them with notepad. Some SID/STAR files are auto generated using DAFIF data, so they will only contain RWY info and no SIDS/STARS.If this is the case, you might want to go to www.navdata.at and check for SID/STAR files for the airports you need.Best RegardsMax (Bern, LSZB)http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpg http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg
