Featured Replies

Hi Fellows,Does anyone know why PMDG 737 nose gear turns to the left after landing, and how to find a solvation of this problem. It doesn't happen before take off, only after I land the plain down with Autopilot off, and I don't touch my joystick, but the plain simply goes to the left. It doesn't happens with any other plains. Please help!!!Thank you,Gene

I was wondering the same myself, so anyone???

I don't have the problem. Plane stays straight after touchdown. Calibrate those sticks or yokes.John

If memory serves I cured it by switching Auto Rudder OFF in settings.Someone helped my out with that one, on this forum.Regards

Gene,I don't have this problem. But here are a couple of things to make you check. First make sure you don't have Auto Rudder checked in FS9.Next make sure you have your rudder pedals calibrated. Another reason to have the registered version of FSUIPC. Can take care of all calibration problems a lot better than FS9Final, thing, if you have a crosswind situation, the plane will "weather vane". That is the tail will want to push the nose of the plane back into the wind. Just use your pedals to make the correction. If you are using the keyboard then a lot of keystrokes have to go into these kinds of corrections.CheersBob

This is the problem for people with no rudder peddles. Keyboard rudders are almost impossible to use.Try taking off with a 25 knot crosswind using the keyboard rudders, it's not easy. Taxiing is also very difficult. For this I found turning on Auto Rudder easier, as it gives you rudder control through the stick, although taking off in a Xwind gets a bit rolly as you are also controlling the alerions, but hey, what a one wheel take off between friends LOL.I try and remember to turn it off when I am about to take off and I assigned two joystick buttons to be rudder left right, and use the 5 key to center if I get lost about were the rudder is.Another thing to watch out for is that the FS9 keyboard reading routines are pathetic. If you are holding the period key to brake (I have the 2 fire buttons set for trim up and down, and the other buttons for rudder on the stick), and you have to press and hold reversers or any other key, then the brakes will release. It appears FS9 can only have one key in repeat mode at a time. Maybe this is the standard Windows key repeat routine, but for a game like FS it should have been overriden and rewritten IMHO.

Thnk you guys for all ur suggestions I realy apriciate that, I'll try to do everything you said,Thanks again,Gene
