July 21, 200421 yr Don't think I've seen this anywhere before. Last night I was doing some practive out of KSLC with the lovely weather they always have there (31017G32 was the winds if I remember). Anyway, it was a nice x-wind takeoff. When I initially got airborne a gust threw me back down on the tarmack. I got airborne again but had a bank angle that caused my right gear to be on the ground a second or so longer than the left. Once in the air the right gear refused to come up. Since I was just doing a visual pattern basically I just left all 3 down for the duration.
July 21, 200421 yr Yes sir, gear failures are programmed into this wonderful sim. For #$@$# and giggles try overspeeding your gear and see what happens ;-)Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J.
