August 10, 200421 yr HiYou can download a freeware utility called pln2rte.zip from the library. It will convert FS9 flightplans to .rte files which can be imported into the FMC.If you make a search on "pln2rte" on this forum here, you'll find lot of info about it.:-) http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/checkcapt.jpg

Yes it costs a few dollars but it is well worth it. Once it's setup it will save your 2 plans at the same time. One is a fs9.pln file the other a PMDG.rte file. It places the plans in the proper folders, .pln in ...Docs & settings /your docs/Flight Plans. It puts the other in...fs9/PMDG/FlightPlans.Then when you bring up you FMC just go to NavData-->FlightPlans, put it in the scatchpad then enter it in co.Route,bingo, thats it. I think Ernie Allston did a nice job. Works great!Regards
