Friends - do I take it that TCAS is not available for 600/700, nor unless I am using some form of Squawkbox plugin? Sorry, I'm a newbie and I DID try to find references before this post!!!

TCAS comes with the 800/900 and after a patch (only for 800/900 owners) you get it in the 600/700 too. So if you only have the 600/700 package you have no TCAS...

I have TCAS objects on VATSIM and I set the option to use the FS9 interface instead of AIBridge. Works well, except that you only see whatever other planes VATSIM places in your range, which can be a hit or miss situation (not related to TCAS).

That situation should improve with SB3 as TCAS traffic injection into FSUIPC and MP traffic injection into FS are separate. This means the quirks and limits of MP shouldn't affect TCAS.Lee Hetherington, PP-ASEL (KBED)
