August 26, 200421 yr HII have just installed a new HDD and put 3 partitions on it on for windows xp/system one for flightsim and one for the rest,I still have the old disk installed with all FS9 on it.Can I copy the PMDG files from the old disk to the new FS9 install or should I reinstall? The first time I tried, the PMDG installer found H:Program FilesMicrosoft games, but, did not find the FS9 folder. When I directed it to it, a new folder microsoft games was added.I have now deleted that and reinstalled PMDG, but, was wondering whether I could copy the liveries etc across from the old HDD? or should they all be installed cleanly? Thanks for any help I would like to get back in the air as soon as possible.CheersTerry
August 26, 200421 yr Install clean and avoid many headaches ;-). In fact I would use the remover tool from the PMDG site before re-installing just to be sure....Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J.
