Will my PC handle it?

Featured Replies

I realise (before I get shot down in flames!) that the minimum specs given on the PMDG website are P4 1.4Ghz, 256mb RAM and 32MB graphics - however I operate a P4 1.3 system (all other specs OK). I'd like to purchase this aircraft (after the rave reviews!), but don't want to buy it only to have it ruin my FS experience completely in terms of frame rates.I have heard reports it works on a 1.1Ghz PC, but I know things like this vary form PC to PC - but can anyone offer any advice?

To be honest, you're computer is old and very dated.I think it'd be a better idea to put the $40 you would spend on the PMDG 737 towards a new computer capable of running this sim a bit better.I'm not saying you couldnt run it, I'm just saying it probably wouldnt be worth it.John http://homepage.eircom.net/~eamonnmca/images/logo_ba.JPGwww.bavirtual.co.uk Senior Captain Simflight.com Staff Reviewer

Sadly a new PC is unlikely - thjough my 18th is approaching and I'm probab;y hetting money so you never know. Thanks for your input though.

Well Martin some folks are able too, it depends on how you have your flight simulator setup. Certainly you will not be able to have sliders up high or AA going. The latest versions of the NG are somewhat better as reported by many users. I would pretty much rule out full VC use though ;-(Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J.
