B1900 Questions

Featured Replies

I'm a new B1900 user with a couple questions.- When in spot view, why does the engine sound stop (no engine sound) when throttles are pulled to idle? I do hear it again when the throttles are pulled to reverse. - If in full view (W twice) and I look to the left or right rear quarter view, I see no wing views. However, if I'm in full view (W twice) and open the GPS (Shift + 3), I see the wings and engines if I look to either rear quarter.Richard

One more question.Am I supposed to hear different engines sounds when advancing the engines separately? I use a two lever throttle quadrant. If I advance the left engine I hear one type of engine sound and if I advance the right engine I hear a completely different sound.Richard

I sure could use some help on these questions. I'm just purchased the B1900, so I may have missed these in previous posts.Richard

Hi Richard,Have you downloaded Service Update 1.1 for the PMDG Express B1900? It addresses some sound issues in addition to a few other minor fixes.Drop by the PMDG web site at www.precisionmanuals.com and click on the "download" tab.Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg

Hi Vin,I re-installed 1.1 just to be sure but it did not correct those items. One clarification though. The engine/wing view question is seen with only one W. I believe I wrote two W's initially. Its the view with the row of instruments across the bottom of the screen. These items are very minor. Just thought I'd report them. Really enjoying the B1900. It replaces the A320.Richard
