Alt/baro setting & Autobrakes ???

Featured Replies

Hello fellow simmersI recently purchased the PMDG 737NG 600/700 and 800/900 package..i have to say its awesome and extremely addictive.Well worth every penny i spent on it.I just wanted to ask...After i reach 18 000ft on climb the altimeter /baro setting should be reset to STD,,,,but on the 800 and 900 this is not happening...and also after having set autobrakes to RTO for take-off..after the airplane has rotated,,,the knob does not reset...Can anyone advise on whats happening,,,is it my error and ignorance or is it something else.?

Mr/Ms X, (Please read the forum rules that asks you to sign your posts with your real name)The transition to STD is not done automatically. You press the baro setting knob (It reads STD in the center) on the EFIS panel to set STD pressure. In Europe the TL/TA is different from country to country even from airport to airport. The Auto brake knob doesn't reset itself in the real world NG. Thus it will not reset in the sim either. You have to switcdh it to off once airborne. Checked during climb checklist I think.Hope it helps,
