Yet Another "Is My System ok" Question I Afraid!!

Featured Replies

Sorry for this but I'm another person that's interested in how the 737-NG will perform on my system!I have an AMD Athlon 1800XP, 512MB RAM, Radeon 9600Pro 128MBMyTraffic at 100%Active Camera,Active Sky FSW replacement cloudsSenery set at dense. I know that I wouldn't be able to keep those settings but was wondering how much I'd need to reduce before the 737 brought my system to it's knees!Victor

I have a similar system, but only a GeForce 3 graphic card.In addition i do not use Mytraffic, but i am flying online with the PMDG with about 10frames during cruise. At approach it can sink to 5 frames.I know that it is not much, but i dont agree with the high prices for new hardware. So i will wait for the FS2006 and then i will probably buy something new.Just my 2 cents.

The PMDG NG (all flavors) 2D cockpit has about a 3% impact on FPS on my system. The VC about 15%, most noticeable around complex scenery such as approach/departure.

Hard to say. Me I like to fly at 1280x960x32 with 4xaa and some aniso.Have not been able to fly the PMDG over any kind of large city with acceptable performance until now.I guess you would have to cut down perhaps just about all of your traffic AI since that gives me insane performance boosts on my 2,75 gig A64 :)But I can actually fly with 50 % traffic AI now and fly with the PMDG in VC over cities and get acceptable performance if I cut down on autogen to dense and don
